The guitar will be the great protagonist, this evening in Piazza Pirandello where starting from 21.30 will be held "L'International guitar night 2018". Leaded by Francesco Buzzurro will perform some of the most important guitarists of the moment including Adam Palma, Fabio Mariani, the Agrigento Osvaldo Lo Iacono, and a dozen other young guitar virtuosi. It is an event, sponsored by the Municipality and realized with the contribution of the Valle dei Templi Archaeological and Landscape Park. The talents will alternate on stage in several solo paintings, in duo, in trio and finally together with the famous Francesco Buzzurro. The repertoire of the evening will propose different genres, from jazz to blues, from original and manouche music to pop and brazilian music, to the revisiting of well-known evergreens. On stage as well as Buzzurro, with his guitar-orchestra without borders, defined by Ennio Morricone "among the greatest in the world because it is able to make the music accessible to all" there may be other well-known guitarists. The young musicians, presented by Alfredo Lo Faro, chosen for their varied peculiarities, during the evening will revive the evolution of the guitar, in its diversification over time, even in stylistic approaches, with an eye to tradition and one to modernity.
